About Us
It started with mum and daughter, a car full of meals and a heart full of compassion.
Founder Roslyn (“Rozz”) began cooking meals at home and driving around the region, supporting people experiencing homelessness with food, kindness and connection.
With her daughter Latisha alongside her, those small acts of kindness grew into something much bigger. As we spent time with people and listened to their stories, we realised hardship comes in many forms.
What started as feeding people experiencing homelessness has grown into supporting individuals and families facing financial hardship, isolation, mental health challenges, addiction recovery, and life’s unexpected challenges.
Today we are a grassroots, volunteer-led registered charity supporting people across Deception Bay and the wider Moreton Bay region, housed and unhoused alike.
We are led by people with lived experience who understand that life can change quickly. We use those experiences to walk alongside others, not above them.
Our work is built on connection and trust. We take the time to listen, sit with people, and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
No judgement. Ever.
We believe everyone has a story, and sometimes people just need someone to listen, believe in them, and remind them they matter. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where people feel seen, valued and connected.
Because everyone deserves kindness, connection and a place where the belong.
